Hi I’m Emma!
While originally from sunny Los Angeles, I earned a degree in Journalism and Women and Gender Studies from Boston University. I am passionate about discovering hidden gems, from coffee shops tucked behind bookstores to small, indie bands with less than a thousand listeners on Spotify.
My editorial work has been featured in publications such as Boston magazine, Los Angeles magazine, DoLA, Autre magazine, Edible LA magazine, and the Brookline TAB. Some of my past clients include Goldenvoice, Live Nation, Insomniac, Michelob Ultra, and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
While writing will always be my first love, I love traveling, hiking, making oddly specific Spotify playlists, baking fruit crisps, and going to concerts. I aim to apply my storytelling skills in ways that amplify undiscovered voices and encourage others to live more curiously and with empathy.
